The avenues of nature lead continually to the unknown. The knowledge gained concerning the lives of fish and their struggle for existence should provide something that we may wisely use to a good advantage to protect the very thing we enjoy—good fishing. Not a constant struggle to find some new device or lure or method that will further deplete the streams; or to find when fish will bite in order that we may take home a full reel.
To learn and appreciate the facts about fish and fishing, one should have some diversions on the concept of fishing. That is why there are people who combined the lucrative satisfaction of what most fishermen and anglers obtain and the entertainment and amusement most children enjoy.
And what did they come up with? A magnetic fishing pole!
Most anglers contend that to fish with a good rod is to really enjoy fishing. They believe that the rod is the most essential part of your equipment and should be selected with care and consideration. But this does not mean that you would go for a magnetic fishing pole.
Kidding aside, magnetic fishing pole is a ground-breaking invention of some wannabes who sees the fishing world as a lucrative activity both on and off the shore. The magnetic fishing pole is exclusively made for children and to those who are young at heart.
Basically, the magnetic fishing pole reflects the contemporary way of letting the kids know how to value the fishes and their surroundings. Through the use of magnetic fishing poles, they get to enjoy life's simple pleasure by turning into an angler wannabe and play on catching plenty of fishes in a pool of magnetic lures and toy fishes.
Magnetic fishing pole is actually a part of an amusing toy made up of plywood. This toy is a puzzle game wherein the concept of playing it is based on the premise that you have to 'fish' them out first before you put them back so as to solve the puzzle.
This wooden puzzle gives a picture of an aquamarine scenery in a wide array of dazzling colors of oranges, browns, and blue like the water. Aside from the magnetic fishing pole, this puzzle also consists of a variety of fishes and other sea creatures such as sea horses, starfish, and crabs.
Because it has a magnetic fishing pole that acts as a true-to-life fishing rod, the other parts of this unique and exciting toy are also embellished with magnets even if they are all made up of wood.
The concept of the game, as mentioned earlier, is to fish the pieces out of the "wooden" sea first and then try to put them back and solve the puzzle all together. Though, it is strongly suggested that you put back the pieces all together again by using the magnetic fishing pole again. No hands! No hands!
Primarily, this toy was wholly manufactured and its concept artistically created for children.
Aside from the concept of entertainment, the inventor also had in mind the idea of enticing the children's minds to work on their psychomotor skills. With the use of magnetic fishing pole, the children will be able to expand their skilfulness and ability; develop their hand to eye coordination; fine motor skills, and optical awareness while enjoying and catching these miniature sea creatures through the use of the magnetic fishing pole.
On the other hand, magnetic fishing pole was not merely utilized by little children. They were also used by those who are "children at heart." Here, the magnetic fishing pole was used by a certain teacher in his attempt to teach his class the concept of magnetism.
Hence, he thought of a way how to get his students interested in magnets without having to sound so technical and boring. He thought that using a magnetic fishing pole, he would be able to teach magnetism in a very invigorating manner. What's more, he thought that through the fun of using magnetic fishing pole, his students will get to enjoy learning science in a more amusing way.
And so, he designed his lesson plan, with a magnetic fishing pole at hand. The next day, he instructed the students to fish out every object that they see on the make-believe pond he had created. He gave each student a magnetic fishing pole.
After doing the activity, the students finally realized, based on their hands-on experience, that magnetism only works on items that are made up of metal. This was clearly shown through the items that they were able to fish out from the make-believe pond using the magnetic fishing pole.
Indeed, this wonderful invention had served a lot of purpose. It was not only an amusing toy for children but an educational tool for students and teacher as well.
